Point and line

Point and line is all about the points or dots indicating the location of the space. Lines will be formed and extended by the points with properties such as length, direction and position. Our very first task was to choose an interior or an exterior space that we liked so that we could experiment the points and lines.
Our next task was to mark down and connect all of the visible points on the picture .

After marking the lines, we continued on a separate piece of model board where we sewed on the guidelines we marked and connected earlier to create a 2D relief and to make the lines stand out more.

Our final model board was where we got to create a 3D relief by hammering down nails onto the main points in the picture and tying the same white thread from before onto the nails. We adjusted the thread to be different in height aiming towards different directions so that there is a far distance from one another.

I ended up choosing on this picture of an exterior space because of the uniqueness of the perspective the picture has.
