Megan Ong

Hello everyone, I'm Megan, I'm 17 and Im taking the Foundation In Design (FID) course at Taylor's University. Welcome to my blog. This blog of mine will be based on a few subjects i'm currently taking in the course which will be on '2 - Dimensional design studies', 'Creative thinking skills', ' Contextual studies' 'Photography' and 'Spatial design'.  What you're about to see will consist of the process of past assignments which I've completed as well as in-depth explanations of each one. 

When I first started the March intake, I was very keen to know more about the design concepts because of how interested I was. People may think that design is only about art, color etc but to me, it's definitely worth more than that.

After weeks of classes, everything felt different. It was a feeling like I was finally being introduced to the world of design in a proper way where I could accomplish almost anything and that is definitely one of the reasons why I chose to do this course, not only for the experience or that I think I would enjoy it but that I know that this is something that's definitely worth my time and I like the fact that I could just express my thoughts and personality through my artwork. As for now, my thoughts are currently on in Graphic communication design, so it's safe to say that taking foundation in the design school as my starting point would keep my head up and lead me towards the very end.
